How much is the UMaT admission form?
The price for the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) admission form depends on the program and applicant status. For Ghanaian applicants, the cost is GH¢230 for BSc, GH¢200 for Diploma, and GH¢180 for Certificate programs. For international applicants, the cost is US$100 for BSc, US$85 for Diploma, and US$75 for Certificate programs.
What is the cut-off grade for UMaT?
UMaT uses the new grading system of WASSCE for the selection of candidates, and in this system, a grade aggregate of 36 is the minimum entry requirement at UMaT.
Is the UMaT admission portal closed?
No, the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) has not closed its admission portal; applications for the 2025/2026 academic year are currently open.
