Ghana National Fire Recruitment Requirements 2025

To qualify, applicants must:

Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.
Be with no criminal record and of good character.
Not have been dismissed from any public service or any other employment.
Be not less than 18 years and not more than 35 years of age for Officer Corps by 1st November 2025.
Be not less than 18 years and not more than 32 years of age for non-Tradesmen by 1st November 2025.
Be not less than 18 years and not more than 35 years of age for Tradesmen / artisans by 1st November 2025.
Be physically and medically fit by Fire Service standards.
Be of a minimum height of:
1. 1.73 metres / 173 cm / (5ft 8 inches) for males.
2. 1.63 metres / 163 cm / (5ft 4 inches) for females.
Have five (5) credits (not less than Grade 6) at BECE.
Be not Bonded by any organization.
Have five (5) passes (Up to Grade C6 including English and Mathematics) at WASSCE/SSSCE or the requisite credit/passes in respective trade qualifications from GES Intermediate or Advance Level.
