Admission Requirements & Cut-Off Points for ATU 2025/2026 Admissions
General Entry Requirements for WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants:
For most programs (BTech and HND), the general requirement for WASSCE/SSSCE applicants involves passes in six (6) subjects, including:
- Three (3) Core Subjects:
- English Language
- Core Mathematics
- Integrated Science (or Social Studies for Arts and Business Programmes)
- Three (3) Elective Subjects:
- These must be relevant to the program of study.
Specific Grade Requirements:
- For 4-Year Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Degrees:
- WASSCE: At least three (3) of the six subjects (core and elective) must be C6 or better (A1-C6).
- SSSCE: At least three (3) of the six subjects (core and elective) must be Credit or better (A-D).
- Cumulative Aggregate: The cumulative aggregate for 4-year BTech degrees must generally be 24 or better for SSSCE and 36 or better for WASSCE (though specific programs may have stricter requirements).
- For Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes:

1. Purchase Your E-Voucher:
This is the first and most Important step. The e-voucher contains a serial number and PIN that you’ll use to access the online application.
- Mobile Networks (Ghana): Dial the short code *840*100# and follow the prompts to make payment and receive your e-voucher via SMS.
- Banks (Ghana): You can also purchase e-vouchers from all branches of:
- Access Bank
- Bank of Africa
- Fidelity Bank
- International Applicants: Send an email to info@atu.edu.gh to request an application voucher. It will be generated and sent back to you in response to your email.
- Mature Applicants: Note that if you’re applying as a mature applicant, there’s a specific fee for tuition (classes) and the mature entrance examination (currently GH₵ 600.00). This payment is made at Bank of Africa, Fidelity, or Access Bank branches.
2. Access the ATU Admission Portal:
- Once you have your e-voucher (serial number and PIN), go to the official ATU admission portal: https://application.atu.edu.gh
3. Log In to the Portal:
- Enter the serial number and PIN from your e-voucher into the designated fields on the login page.

- Important Note on Photos: You are required to upload a passport-sized picture with a sea-blue background. The dimensions should be 160×160 pixels. Ensure your photo meets these specifications.
