Admission Requirements & Cut-Off Points for HTU 2025/2026 Admissions

General Admission Requirements for HTU 2025/2026

HTU admits students into Master’s, Bachelor’s (BTech and BSc), Higher National Diploma (HND), and Non-Tertiary programs. The general requirements vary based on the level of study and the applicant’s qualification.

2. Bachelor’s Degree Programmes (BTech/BSc):

WASSCE Holders:
- Credit Passes (A1-C6) in six (6) subjects, including:

  - Core Mathematics
  - Integrated Science/Social Studies

Plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.

HND and Equivalent Diploma Holders (Top-Up):

Applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Lower in a related field of study.

Successful applicants will be admitted into Level 300.

TVET Certificate Holders:

Minimum of Lower Credit in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies.

Plus three (3) relevant trade courses.

Technician Part III Holders are also eligible.

GBCE Holders:

Six (6) GBCE credits including English Language, Business Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies.

3. Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes:

WASSCE Holders:
- Passes (A1-D7) in six (6) subjects, including:
  - English Language
  - Core Mathematics
  - Integrated Science/Social Studies
- Plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
TVET Certificate Holders:
- Minimum of a Pass in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies.
- Plus three (3) relevant trade courses.

GBCE Holders:
- Five (5) GBCE credits including English, Business Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies.

4. Non-Tertiary Programmes:

5. Mature Applicants:

Must be 25 years and above by the time of application.
