Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Postgraduate Courses
MPhil programme is a one-year taught course and a one-year research leading to a thesis (a total of 24 months). There are modules to be taken during these 12 months, with each module lasting between three weeks and four weeks. Each module has between two and three courses. KEEP will offer admission for applications every year from Ghana and the West African Countries to pursue a 24-month full-time MPhil programme in the following specializations:

MSc Programmes
MSc programme is a one-year taught course and a six-month project design and implementation(a total of 18 months). KEEP will offer admission for applications every year from Ghana and the West African Countries to pursue an 18-month full-time MSc programme in the following specializations:

- MSc Power and Energy Systems Engineering
- MSc Renewable Energy Technologies

General Qualifications
Applicants with a BSc/BEng degree in the Electrical & Electronic Engineering discipline from a recognized University with a minimum average grade of 2nd class lower division. Applicants with degrees from closely related disciplines such as BSc/BEng in Electronics or Physics could also be considered.

A student must register the required courses during each semester and attend lectures in order to continue in the programme.
Requirements For Graduation
For the award of the MPhil degree, the student must have
- passed all courses.
- achieved a minimum of 57 credits hours.
- obtained a minimum pass mark of 50% in any examination.
- obtained a minimum cumulative weighted average (CWA) of 55.00 (for taught courses and seminars)
- submitted and successfully defended a Thesis.

What are the requirements for KNUST postgraduate programs?
